Age: You must be 19 or older on the first day of your course.
Location / Residency: You must be living in the UK and have been resident for at least 3 years.

Barbering Level 3 NVQ Diploma with a Learner Loan

Our Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Barbering is a nationally recognised qualification designed for those ready to take their barbering skills to an advanced level.

This course is suitable for individuals with little or no barbering experience who are looking to change career, as well as qualified hairdressers who want to upskill and specialise in men’s hair and grooming services.

You will develop advanced technical ability, creativity and confidence, preparing you to work professionally in a busy barbershop or salon environment.

Our programme is delivered over 12 months with a workshop taking place 1 day per week.

What you will learn:

Provide full shaving services, including traditional wet shaving techniques
Creatively cut hair using a combination of advanced barbering techniques
Design and create a variety of facial hair shapes and styles
Deliver professional barbering consultation services
Carry out salon reception duties and client care
Colour and lighten men’s hair
